The lighthose of Brucoli is located out of time and space, literally immersed in the light and blue of the Sicilian sea, representing a wonderful work that brings to life, in a new form, abandoned places that have never lost their charm. The conservative restoration and the stylistic essentiality, decorated by the Talenti furnishings in all the suggestive outdoor areas, makes this work of architecture something unique of its kind.
Itinera Studio Associato, managed by the architect Giuseppe Di Vita, has collected the memories of this historic place, a lighthouse that opens the doors to the Val di Noto, one of the most evocative areas of Sicily, in which the fifteenth-century Castello Aragonese of the Queen Giovanna forms the background. His work has transformed this space into a place of peace: a 5-star luxury lighthouse accommodation that promises moments of authentic beauty, overlooking the splendid marine nature. The project belongs to the “Value – Country – Dwellings” program of the State Property Agency aimed at enhancing the Italian heritage of great historical, artistic and landscape value.
The lighthouse, an extreme offshoot of Brucoli, a sailor village that was born as a fisherman village, is the masterpiece of a conservative restoration that combines the enhancement of tradition and recycled materials with exclusive design choices in the furnishings. The Talenti outdoor furniture have been chosen for the large and wonderful outdoor areas. Some elements of the Cleo alu collection designed by Marco Acerbis have been selected for the inner living area and the panoramic terrace that embraces the beacon: large modular sofas, lounge armchairs, swings chairs as well as tables and dining chairs.
