MY Aqua Chiara – Fluid Luxury, Design Sailing Between Light and Horizon

The sea is a moving horizon, a line that shifts with light and time. On board MY Aqua Chiara, a superyacht by Columbus Yachts, this line becomes the meeting point between engineering and beauty, between comfort and lightness. Every detail tells the story of a desire to live the sea not as a boundary, but as a space of freedom — where the art of design meets the essence of navigation. Suspended between sky and water, Talenti brings its vision of outdoor elegance into the nautical world, transforming the decks of MY Aqua Chiara into genuine floating lounges. The furnishings designed by Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba masterfully interpret the language of the sea: fluid, natural, refined. The Argo Wood and Cruise Teak collections dress the outdoor spaces in perfect balance between comfort, durability and visual poetry.

Argo Wood – The Lightness of Wood, the Strength of Comfort

On the main deck terraces, the Argo Wood collection welcomes guests with its natural and sophisticated language. Designed by Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba, it stems from a deep reflection on the concept of outdoor living: not a separate space, but an extension of daily life, a place of balance between body, material and landscape. The structure is made of Accoya wood, a noble and innovative material obtained through a sustainable process that enhances its durability and resistance to marine agents. Its warm, golden tone blends with the teak decking and the blue of the sea, creating a visual and tactile continuity that amplifies the sense of harmony. The handwoven rope backrest wraps around the seat like a soft gesture, tracing a visual rhythm reminiscent of the movement of waves. The seats, comfortable and durable, offer a sensory pleasure that invites pause and contemplation. The fabric, water-repellent and breathable, is designed to resist light, salt, and wind, maintaining the elegance of its natural tones over time. The palette plays with light shades, while the ropes carry neutral vibrations that dialogue with the changing light of the sea. Argo Wood lives through proportion, breath, and equilibrium: every element is part of a coherent story that unites comfort and formal purity. On board MY Aqua Chiara, it becomes the heart of relaxed conviviality — the place where the day begins with the scent of the sea and ends with the sound of the waves. A design that does not impose itself, but accompanies, letting wind and light complete its form.

Cruise Teak – Conviviality and Balance

On the upper deck, the dining and lounge areas feature the Cruise Teak collection, also designed by Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba. Here, design refinement translates into simple, harmonious gestures, perfect proportions, and a luxury that lives through the naturalness of materials. The teak structure expresses solidity and warmth, evoking the tradition of master shipwrights and the ancient bond between wood and sea. The woven rope backrest adds lightness and visual rhythm, while the seats ensure maximum comfort even in environments exposed to sun and salt air.

A distinctive element of the collection is the Cruise Teak dining table, with its porcelain stoneware top — a material both contemporary and tactile, combining aesthetic beauty with functionality. Its smooth, luminous surface reflects the sunlight with natural brilliance while resisting scratches, heat, and humidity. Around the table, the Cruise Teak chairs create a convivial yet intimate atmosphere, where dining at sea becomes a moment of pure harmony. The light shade of the deck above, the breeze flowing through the ropes, and the scent of sun-warmed teak turn every gesture — a toast, a conversation, a smile — into a sensory experience.

Design as a Journey

On board MY Aqua Chiara, the vision of Talenti translates into a story told through light, matter, and comfort. The furnishings become instruments of well-being, capable of evoking emotion and connecting human presence with the surrounding landscape. It’s not about decoration, but about interpreting space as a living part of the navigation experience. The Argo Wood and Cruise Teak collections, through the vision of Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba, embody a new idea of nautical design — sophisticated yet authentic, resistant yet poetic. Each element integrates seamlessly with the yacht’s architecture, in dialogue with its fluid lines and metallic reflections. The result is a harmonious composition where the sea becomes part of the project — not just as a backdrop, but as living matter. Wood and stoneware warm under the sun, ropes let the wind pass through, and fabrics breathe the light. Everything exists in dynamic balance, like a sail finding its course in the ocean’s rhythm.

The Sea as Architecture

MY Aqua Chiara is more than a superyacht: it is a manifesto of fluid design, an ode to freedom and silence. The sea is not a frame, but an integral part of the project — its invisible architecture. In this dialogue between engineering and poetry, between material and light, Talenti finds its most authentic dimension. The furnishings by Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba interpret the sea as a space to inhabit, offering a new vision of luxury: that of suspended time, natural harmony, and essential beauty that stirs emotion. On board MY Aqua Chiara, design doesn’t follow the waves — it creates them.
